Wahoo (A. Solandri) is a saltwater migratory fish closely related to tuna and mackerel. They are mostly silver with a metallic blue back which extends as stripes down their sides. Wahoo meat is white and flaky, with a mild and slightly sweet taste comparable to veal. Our wahoo are sold fresh and frozen, with fresh wahoo being offered whole and in portions and fillets, while frozen being offered only in fillets and portions. Call for availability.
