Triggerfish are a family of reef-dwelling fish which feed primarily on mollusks and crustaceans. They get their name from their ability to quickly erect their dorsal spines to ward off predators. They often come in vibrant colors. Triggerfish fillets are white and have a taste closer to crab than that of other fish. Our triggerfish are sold fresh as fillets or whole. Call for availability.
