Spiny lobsters (P. argus) are saltwater crustaceans found on the coast of Central and South America and, like its namesake, the Caribbean. Spiny lobsters have no claws, so only the tail meat, which is similar to that of a clawed lobster, is eaten. Spiny lobsters are caught by divers or in traps.
