Shrimp (L. setiferus) are small crustaceans with long, curled bodies. Shrimp range in size, which translates to quality. Shrimp have a unique taste which makes them popular in just about every type of dish. Shrimp are sold either live, individually frozen, (IQF) or block frozen. All have benefits and disadvantages, and all are sold here. Our live shrimp are caught in the USA, and our frozen shrimp range from the U.S. to South America to Asia, and are a mixture of farmed and wild caught. All shrimp are available head-on or headless.
