Chilean sea bass, (D. eleginoides) also known as the Patagonian toothfish, is a saltwater fish native to the lower tip of South America. These fish possess an elongated body with a pronounced underbite. Chilean sea bass are mostly black in color. Chilean sea bass fillets are a bright white in color and mild, delicate taste with a soft, buttery texture. Our Chilean sea bass are caught wild in Chile and sold fresh headed and gutted, as portions, or as fillets with skin on and skin off being options. Call for availability.
