Rainbow Trout

Another Montana gem, the Big Hole.

Rainbow trout (O. mykiss) is a species of freshwater fish native to rivers in North America and Asia. They appear greenish-brown with a red stripe running down its sides. They are often covered in dark spots. Their flesh ranges from pink to reddish orange, and is somewhat mild in taste when farmed. Our rainbow trout are sold fresh and are farm-raised in Columbia. They can be bought butterflied, boned, whole, or as fillets. Call for availability.
