Lake Victoria perch, (L. niloticus) also known as Nile perch, is a large freshwater fish native to African rivers. They are a dark silver in color and grow up to 1.5 meters in length. Lake Victoria perch fillets are pink and become white once cooked. The taste is mild and sweet. Our perch are sourced from Tanzania where they are caught wild. They are sold frozen as fillets.
