Lobsters (H. americanus) are saltwater crustaceans primarily found on the northeast coast of North America. They are decapods with large claws. They vary in color, but the ones sold here, the American lobster, are primarily bluish green to brown. Lobster is considered a delicacy due to its sweet, flavorful meat. Lobsters are caught in pots, or traps, which sit on the ocean floor. Our lobsters are caught in Maine and Canada and are sold live in different sizes. Lobster meat is sold frozen and comes from Canada, and Sout America, being available in claws or tails. Call for availability.
