Snow Crab
Snow crab, (C. opilio) also known as the opilio crab, is a species of saltwater crab which lives on continental shelves throughout the world but prefers colder climates. Snow crabs are prized for their sweet, white meat which constitutes a large portion of the crab's mass unlike that of other crabs. Snow crab is often sold in "clusters" which is four legs and a claw attached at the body. Thus, each crab yields two clusters. Our snow crabs are sold frozen and are wild caught in Canada.
