Clams are bivalve mollusks found throughout the world. We sell two different types of clams, top neck, and razor. Top neck clams are a type of hard-shell clam native to the northern Atlantic Ocean. Razor clams inhabit the same areas. Clams have a unique salty taste with a slight sweetness. The muscle which the clam uses to burrow itself into the sand is what is eaten. Clams are often considered a delicacy due to restrictions on fisheries and their seasonal availability. Our clams are sold live or frozen as meat. Call for availability.
