Kingklip
Kingklip (G. capensis) is a species of cusk eel found off the coast of southern Africa, the Caribbean, and Australia. They are small, averaging around 10 lbs in weight. Kingklip come in a variety of colors, ranging from golden to red to black. They are often caught as bycatch due to being bottom feeders. Kingklip fillets are white with a mild, but slightly sweet taste. Our kingklip are caught wild in Costa Rica and can be bought headed and gutted or as fillets. Call for availability.
